Nintendo Europe's senior marketing director Laurent Fischer spoke to GameIndustry.biz and admits that meeting the enormous demand for the console has been tought for Nintendo. I think they are slowly coming around now. I recently saw some merchants selling Wii's online although their stocks are still very limited though. Everywhere I go people were complaining there are not just enough Wii available in stores in their areas.

I'm not surprised. The Wii is so successful that I had great difficulties to find one for Christmas.
